Our 7 pillars…<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Seven\u00a0core pillars\u00a0hold up the mission of who we are. \u00a0Theses 7 pillars are the center of what we believe, who we are, and what we do. \u00a0We believe these values are essential for genuine, from the heart, life-changing growth as a believer.<\/p>\n

Pillar 1: Heavenly Strategies<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

At Oasis of Hope you will discover that we do not move without hearing from God. \u00a0We believe that hearing and obeying His voice are essential to the growth and development of the body.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut this is what I commanded them, saying, \u2018Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.\u201d

Pillar 2: Family<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We value family and what God intended for it to stand for. \u00a0We may all come from various backgrounds but through Christ are joined together as brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pillar 3: Fellowship<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We value creating an environment where you can be real about where you are in life. We aren\u2019t interested in being a church where a lot of people get together for an inspiring service but never move beyond casual relationships.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe loved you so much that we gave you not only God\u2019s good news, but our very lives as well.\u201d
\n1 Thessalonians 2:8<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo put away all falsehood and tell your neighbor the truth, because we belong to each other.\u201d
\nEphesians 4:25<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pillar 4: Prayer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Oasis of Hope is a place were prayer is vital. \u00a0We believe that God hears our prayers and because of our sincere prayer He is moved with compassion. \u00a0We not only pray for those in need but for\u00a0the nations and those in authority. \u00a0As believers we\u00a0must pray and not faint.<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pillar 5: Stewardship<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Oasis of Hope is a ministry that believes in sowing and reaping. \u00a0God not only calls for us to give to the efforts of His kingdom but to be good managers as well over the gifts, the talents and the treasury He affords us. \u00a0As we yield ourselves to Him, He richly blesses us.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.\u201d<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 4:1-2<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God\u201d<\/p>\n

Pillar 6: Outreach<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We believe that it is our duty to go out of our walls and make disciples.\u00a0 We are commissioned by Christ to go forth into all areas and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. \u00a0It is our desire to support mission work abroad and locally.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo therefore\u00a0and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pillar 7: Biblical Ordinances<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

At Oasis of Hope we believe that God has left us ordinances that show forth His glory till He returns. \u00a0Each ordinance is symbolic in nature and points to an eternal Father and loving Savior. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYet they seek Me daily,\u00a0And delight to know My ways,\u00a0<\/span>As a nation that did righteousness,\u00a0And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.\u00a0They ask of Me the ordinances of justice;\u00a0They take delight in approaching God.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
