Seven core pillars hold up the mission of who we are. Theses 7 pillars are the center of what we believe, who we are, and what we do. We believe these values are essential for genuine, from the heart, life-changing growth as a believer.
Pillar 1: Heavenly Strategies
At Oasis of Hope you will discover that we do not move without hearing from God. We believe that hearing and obeying His voice are essential to the growth and development of the body.
“But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.”

Pillar 2: Family
We value family and what God intended for it to stand for. We may all come from various backgrounds but through Christ are joined together as brothers and sisters.
“For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

Pillar 3: Fellowship
We value creating an environment where you can be real about where you are in life. We aren’t interested in being a church where a lot of people get together for an inspiring service but never move beyond casual relationships.
“We loved you so much that we gave you not only God’s good news, but our very lives as well.”

Pillar 4: Prayer
Oasis of Hope is a place were prayer is vital. We believe that God hears our prayers and because of our sincere prayer He is moved with compassion. We not only pray for those in need but for the nations and those in authority. As believers we must pray and not faint.
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Pillar 5: Stewardship
Oasis of Hope is a ministry that believes in sowing and reaping. God not only calls for us to give to the efforts of His kingdom but to be good managers as well over the gifts, the talents and the treasury He affords us. As we yield ourselves to Him, He richly blesses us.
“Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”

Pillar 6: Outreach
We believe that it is our duty to go out of our walls and make disciples. We are commissioned by Christ to go forth into all areas and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to support mission work abroad and locally.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Pillar 7: Biblical Ordinances
At Oasis of Hope we believe that God has left us ordinances that show forth His glory till He returns. Each ordinance is symbolic in nature and points to an eternal Father and loving Savior.
“Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.”
